This takes place on the first Tuesday of each month for those who wish to partake. Alternate months have a seven mile or a five mile route (shown below). Runners leave according to their handicap with the slower runners first. Faster runners leave last with all expected at the finish together. Running faster than your handicap time gives you as much chance of winning the race as any of the others. This isn’t compulsory but is a good way of running fast without being left behind by the really fast ones.
