TUFFNUTZ is an 11 mile endurance team race with TuffTasks to do on the way.
The 2008 race on March 30th was won by Penny Lane Vets in a time of 1 hr 51’44”
22 teams entered the race in four categories -
35 Pensby members and friends marshalled at the Start/Finish and on the course.
The route (search Google Maps of Wirral for TuffNutz and use satellite view) followed the beach, the Country Park and the marsh paths down to Parkgate, returning along the Wirral Way up into the Dales and down the Dungeon back to the Thurstaston Visitor Centre.

Every team was given at least one Spot Prize kindly donated by Runners Sports of New Ferry.
Every contestant got a super Goody bag containing food, drink, gifts and a TuffNutz T shirt.
One lucky runner was given a pair of Rudy Project sports glasses worth £110. These are guaranteed unbreakable, are optically superior and are photochromic. These were donated by Rudy Project and Eye2Eye Opticians of Wirral.
